PeachPay Review: Turbocharge Your Checkout Process

It’s no secret that the longer and more complicated the payment process, the more likely customers are to abandon their purchase and store elsewhere. The creators of the PeachPay plugin for WooCommerce want to solve this problem by creating a tool that aims to reduce the payment process to just 4.5 seconds.

It’s a bold statement, but it can be a game changer for you when you’re faced with the ever-growing problem of an abandoned shopping cart.

Why? Because the idea behind PeachPay is that returning customers can purchase all the products they want with just one click. That way, you eliminate the hassle, frustration, and effort of a multi-step payment process, making customers much less likely to leave you and continue their purchase altogether.

So far so good, but is it working?

Is the PeachPay plugin really effective in providing one-click verification in just a few seconds? And if so, how easy is it to use?

For more information, see our PeachPay magazine.

Review of the PeachPay plugin

The first thing we like about PeachPay is that it comes with a free three-month trial, which allows you to try it out at no additional cost and add just $99 per year if it proves to be a great addition to your online store.

The free trial has no restrictions, which means you have access to the full range of features, including

  • Easy customization of the mapping process
  • Secure tape payment processing
  • Cross-device functionality so customers can store on any device.
  • Improve the after-sales experience to encourage long-term loyalty and repeat purchases
  • Quality of customer service.

Let’s take a closer look at some of these features:

Easy to set up and load in the box

You can download PeachPay for free from the WordPress plugin directory by simply going to Plugins – Add New in the WordPress toolbar and searching for “PeachPay”.

Click “Install,” then “Activate,” and you’re ready to go.

Connecting WooCommerce

For PeachPay to work, you need to integrate it with WooCommerce, which is literally as simple as clicking the “Accept” button to confirm that you are giving PeachPay read/write access.

You don’t even have to search for this environment. It is the first thing that appears after activating the plugin.

It’s also important to note that by granting this permission, the plugin is technically allowed to do several things, in fact the only thing it can technically do is execute commands, so you don’t have to worry about a conflict between the plugin and other features of your e-commerce store.

Belt device

In addition to WooCommerce, you also need to set up Stripe, which is as simple as clicking on a notification in your dashboard and following the instructions.

If you already have a Stripe account, you can simply register for it. Note, however, that it must be an account that is already associated with your e-commerce store.

When we tried to set up PeachPay, we tried to use a Stripe account that we had already created for another site, which made my activation key unusable. It was a bit annoying and we had to create a new Stripe account, but of course if you already use Stripe for your WooCommerce store, it’s not a problem.

Fortunately, the good news is that if you really need a brand new account, you can open it in about a minute by entering important information about your business and some contact information.

With that, you are ready and willing to go.

Easy one-click control

Once PeachPay is configured and activated, you will now see that customers visiting your product pages will see an orange button inviting them to make a one-click purchase.

If this is the first time they have used this option, the term “one-click” is a bit misleading, as they still have to enter their shipping and payment information as usual.

However, we have found that even this takes almost no time at all, especially if the clients have already activated the auto-entry feature, which is the case for many of them.

Customers place their first order with PeachPay in about 10 seconds and are then encouraged to download the application to track their order history.

This is where the application makes sense, because from the first order, the promise of “one click” becomes a reality.

Returning customers just click the same “one-click purchase” button, but this time all their information is securely stored and they just click the checkout button.

Voilà! From the product page to the final purchase, the entire process takes less than five seconds. This means that your customers can now store in peace of mind, without having to go through a lengthy and tedious payment process.

Improving after-sales service

When customers decide to download the PeachPay application on their phones, they will find that it can do much more than just display their order history.

It can also be used to make purchases directly from your store and even to find other stores that they would enjoy. This “Discover New Stores” feature is particularly attractive because, in addition to learning about other new stores, there is of course a chance that customers from other online stores will also find your store – a nice added bonus that can help you expand your business even further.

Fast and good customer service

It’s somewhat surprising that the PeachPay team doesn’t seem to do much in terms of customer service and support, but as we try out their plugin for this review, we have to say that it’s one of the main things we fear most about them.

When we had the aforementioned problem with the Stripe account, we just sent a quick “help, it’s not working” email and got a reply ten minutes later. Within half an hour, the whole problem was solved.

This is a big difference from other plugins that offer no or only moderate support. It is not uncommon to ask a plugin developer for help and not get a response until the next day or even later, so a ten-minute response and a 30-minute resolution time is certainly commendable.

PeachPay WooCommerce Plugin: our verdict

We started this review by asking if PeachPay can really streamline your payment process in just 4.5 seconds, and now that we’ve tried it ourselves, we can confirm that yes, it really can.

Of course, this simply means that customers must enter their payment and shipping information the first time in order to use the one-click checkout in the future, but we found that even the first checkout was infinitely faster and easier than the standard WooCommerce process.

Aside from our little excursion, we found that the installation and setup of the plugin is as easy as you could wish for. This means that you can go from installing the plugin to offering one-click verification to your customers in about 5 to 10 minutes.

Add to that exceptional customer support and a user-friendly application that offers your customers great value at no extra cost, and you get a high-quality, affordable application that can be the answer to all your abandoned shopping cart problems.
