KonoSuba is a comedy anime that takes place in a fantasy world. The main character of the series Kazuma Satou was summoned to this world full of magic and monsters. He was given two options, he could either be resurrected or he could be given any item he wanted.
Kazuma ends up choosing the item which ended up being a goddess named Aqua. After that, Kazuma is sent to this fantasy world with Aqua as his companion. While there, Kazuma quickly realizes that this world isn’t what he thought it would be and starts to think about how he can make the most of it.
There’s a lot of humor in KonoSuba and it comes from the characters themselves. All five main characters have their own unique personalities and quirks that make them funny on their own.
Inuyasha is an anime where the main character Kagome Higurashi gets pulled into a well and is transported back in time to feudal Japan. She meets Inuyasha, who is a half-demon and embarks on an adventure to collect shards of the shattered jewel of four souls with him.

7. Infinite Stratos
Infinite Stratos is about high school student Ichika Orimura who discovers that he is the only male that can pilot an Infinite Stratos (IS), a weaponized exoskeleton. As a result, he gets transferred to IS Academy where he meets girls who also pilot their own ISs.
The plot then follows Ichika as he learns more about his powers, deals with relationships between girls at the academy, and eventually faces off against an evil organization that wishes to use the IS for their own purposes.
The appeal of Infinite Stratos lies in its cast of characters. While it’s true that most harem anime feature girls that fit a certain archetype or character type, Infinite Stratos manages to make them stand out from the rest by focusing on how they interact with Ichika and with each other.
6. My First Girlfriend is a Gal
The main character, Junichi Hashiba, is forced by his friends to help turn his first high school crush, Yukana Yame, into his girlfriend. The only problem is that he is too shy to ask her out himself. Yukana Yame is a beautiful gal (gyaru) who has a bad personality and hates men.
She agrees to go out with Junichi because she is grateful for the food he gave her when she was hungry. The story revolves around their relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend, as well as Junichi’s other gal friends, including the childhood friend turned romantic rival, Nene Fujinoki.
5. Spirited Away
Spirited Away is a Japanese animated fantasy film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. Spirited Away was the biggest domestic box office hit of all time in Japan and won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature at the 75th Academy Awards, where it also received nominations for Best Original Score and Best Original Song (“One Summer’s Day”).
The film was also the fourth highest grossing traditionally animated film worldwide. It follows Chihiro Ogino, a 10-year-old girl who, while moving to a new neighborhood, enters the spirit world.
After her parents are transformed into pigs by the witch Yubaba, Chihiro takes a job working in Yubaba’s bathhouse to find a way to free herself and her parents and return to the human world.
Overlord had a very interesting premise that was squandered by the 4th episode. The series is about Momonga, a skeleton monster from an old (about to be shut down) MMORPG called YGGDRASIL and his attempts to survive in the new world, where NPCs have become sentient.
He does this in typical anime fashion, by taking over a city, establishing himself as a magic ubermensch and hoping the rest of the world doesn’t notice him.
The best thing about this show is how it combines the fantasy setting with some very real things like food shortages and political maneuvering. It also looks great, I’m not sure how much of the art was computer-generated, but it has a nice hand-drawn look to it while also maintaining great detail in everything from character design to background art. The characters are mostly pretty good too.
3. Log Horizon

He meets up with his partner and friend, Asuna Yuuki, and they decide to play the game until they reach the 100th floor of the game’s tower and defeat the final boss. However, if they die in Aincrad, they will also die in real life. Their struggle for survival starts now…
